In our deep-dive meetings with the client, they expressed that they were ready to move away from how they had previously expressed their message. This meant a complete overhaul of their mobile application, including paying particular attention to the way the app displays on both iPads and iPhones.
To get a better understanding of what was working and what wasn’t with the old version, I did ample research by using the application extensively. This allowed me to approach the project from a user’s standpoint, an integral part in designing for functionality instead of simply for style.
In the end, I was able to develop a brand-new application that better reflected CommSec’s brand, with sharp new graphics and a polished, bold design built with the user in mind.
